For real-time data, your browser connects directly to Binance's data servers (data-stream.binance.vision). Binance therefore receives your IP address and technical connection information, and processes them under its own privacy policy (binance.com/privacy). Other market data goes through our server, which queries Binance on your behalf.
4. Retention
- Rate-limiting data (hashed IP address): 24 hours at most.
- Contact messages: as long as needed to reply, then deleted within a reasonable period.
- Language cookie: 12 months. Information cookie: 6 months. Browser settings: until you clear them.
- Photo, bio and chat messages: kept as long as your account exists and deleted with it; a replaced or removed photo is erased immediately. You can delete your own messages within one hour, and afterwards on request via the Contact page.
- Simulator accounts: deleted after 60 days if never used, otherwise after 2 years of inactivity; you can wipe your history at any time with “Reset”.
